Richmond Rod and Gun Club

Please note: all courses must be paid full in advance, and will be nonrefundable. Reservations for the courses will only be shown six months out, and there is a maximum of 8 people per class.


ALL INCLUSIVE COURSES: NRA Guide Basics of Pistol Shooting book, firearms, ammunition, and safety gear are included. All you need to bring is a lunch.

The course will cover Gun Safety, Gun Storage, Types of Firearms and Their Parts, Magazines, Ammunition, Sights, What to Expect at the Range, What You Need at the Range, Cleaning and Maintaining Your Gun.


We will provide all firearms, ammunition, safety gear, and course book needed.

Returning students to our more advanced classes also get free mag carriers from LAG Tactical. These fully adjustable carriers can be linked together to carry more than one mag, all while remaining super flexible and bends to the shape of your body.

What you need to bring:

We will provide the NRA Guide Basics of Pistol Shooting book, ammunition, firearms, and safety gear (eye and ear protection) that will be needed for each course. 


All you need to bring is a lunch.
